Join us on this opportunity of a lifetime to yoga, surf and explore the breathtaking Mentawai Islands. We have hand selected the perfect resort to host us with more then 30 surrounding waves, with the perfect season in mind for long boarders or intermediate short boarders. This is one of the most beautiful and untouched destinations that this world has to offer, from its amazing coral reefs, white sand fringed islands, lush tropical green jungle to its world class waves. Whether you want to explore the natural tropical paradise, snorkel your days away or surf until you can't surf anymore, SEAFOLK has you covered.

We have exclusive use of the resort, which means we are able to select where and when we surf, and what time suits our group for yoga and other activities. This is a major selling factor, as most others resorts have one boat that must be shared among other guests with all different surfing abilities, not ideal for long boarders or novice surfers. The main factor in picking this resort to host us compared to the others, was for this reason. Not to mention the many other reasons that it is amongst the best in the Mentawais!

Accommodation, food, yoga, coaching, video analysis and unlimited boat usage to take us to the perfect waves to suit our ability are among some of the things all included.

We take a max of 7 guests to make sure you’ll get lots of waves and one on one time. Please note that surfing experience is necessary for this retreat. You must be able to catch your own waves and feel comfortable in the water.

We will have a daily yoga practice in the shala at our beautiful resort, that will help you regain your strength and ease your surfer muscles. Our teacher will incorporate different forms of breath work into the practice that can help you with situations that may arise in the water. We find that the pairing of yoga, breath and surfing go hand in hand in more ways than one. No matter your yoga experience we can cater the practice to you, giving you the challenges, explanations or rest that you need.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

·Exclusive use of the resort! This means its only our group and we will only take a max of 7 guests to keep the retreat small and intimate. Which means more waves for you!

·7 nights in a Beautiful Beach Front Bungalow with hot shower and all the western comforts.

·Unlimited speedboat usage for surfing or Island adventure/snorkelling trips.

·Experienced Australian surf coach/guide

·All healthy and filling meals, including snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) at the resort and on the boat.

·Unlimited use of wi-fi internet in the Restaurant

·Unlimited use of all activity equipment and Resort facilities, Snorkels, Stand Up Paddle boards etc.

·Transportation Fee including: Airport Pick up / Drop off, Return Ferry Tickets with A 15kg surfboard bag (more than 15kg or from second bag there will be extra), Pick up / Drop Off between Tuapujet Mentawai Harbor - Resort and back

The Mentawai Islands are so incredibly special for many reasons, one of them being that they are extremely remote! This also means they can be a little bit of a mission to get too. SEAFOLK will do everything we can to make this experience as seamless as possible for you. You will need to allow for a day on either side of the retreat for your travel. You will fly into Padang the night before the retreat starts. You are responsible for your hotel in Padang that night, however we will assist with the booking and provide transport from the airport. Most likely we will all stay in the same hotel so that you don’t have to feel alone in a strange city. We catch the ferry the next morning (the day the retreat starts) at 7am. On the way back home, the ferry arrives quite late, so again you will need to stay in a hotel in Padang, and then fly out the next morning. It may sound complicated but that’s why we’re here!

We have done a lot of research to find the most reasonably priced place that we feel is suited for our standard of retreats. Trust us when we say most other places with the same standards are the same price or even more. We believe this experience will be worth every penny! We hope you decide to join us while the Mentawai Islands are still a hidden gem. Unfortunately, this won’t last forever :)

You can now pay your deposit of $600usd, to secure your spot as we have limited capacity on this intimate retreat.

We have a few options for your payments, and are happy to arrange a payment plan once you have sent your deposit:

The easiest option would be to send to our USD account, either via Transferwise or bank wire transfer. We use WISE to accept payments, so other currencies may be excepted as well. You can also request a quote in IDR to send to our local Indonesian account. Lastly, you can pay via PayPal, however there will be a 5% transaction fee added.
