Welcome to our very own private Island nested in the middle of the Indian Ocean, aka PARADISE. Here you will embark on a journey of wellness, relaxation, self-discovery, surf progression, yoga and adventure. Think, tropical 5 star wellness resort, meets super fun yoga surf retreat!
During the retreat, you will have the opportunity to experience world-class surf coaching tailored to longboarders, midlenths and floaty fish riders. Expert instructors will guide you through the art of riding the waves, helping you improve your technique and maximize your surfing potential. With the Telos Islands known for their incredible surf breaks, you can expect to ride specific waves that cater to your skill level and style. Our coaches will always be there to make sure you feel safe and supported in the water.
In addition to surf coaching, the retreat also offers rejuvenating yoga sessions. You can start and/or end your day with a gentle sun kissed yoga practice, allowing the soothing sounds of the ocean to calm your mind and awaken your body. The serene environment of our resort and its surroundings provides the perfect setting for finding inner peace and balance through this yoga practice. For non surfers, you have the option to make this experience a full on Yoga Retreat, with different styles of sessions held by our own SEAFOLK yoga teacher and the resort on site Yogi. We will provide a progressive and rejuvenating yoga experience for your week with us!
As we explore the Telos Archipelago in our high end speed boat, you will be mesmerized by the lush tropical landscapes, pristine beaches, and vibrant marine life. Our own personal speedboat for our retreat group will take us to various surf spots, tiny remote islands, snorkelling meccas, and white sand beaches. Take part in guided excursions, underwater adventures, and cultural encounters with the local communities, immersing yourself in the rich heritage of this tropical paradise. Whether you are surfing or not, you will have the opportunity to connect with nature, feel free in the ocean breeze, immerse yourself in the beauty of the islands, and witness breathtaking sunsets over the horizon that will make you never want to leave!
Your Accomadtion
Latitude Zero I Telo Islands offers incredible surfing holidays and luxurious tropical island resort accommodation in western Indonesia. The surf resort is situated on its own private island, off the west coast of Sumatra in the Telo Islands, which is north of the Mentawai. Our paradise island sits almost right on the equator – yep, latitude zero!
Our stunning boutique surf resort is discretely set in a natural coconut garden on a beautiful, safe, sandy beach and has epic surfing options 12 months a year. We have specifically selected March for our group as the waves are generally a little smaller and the weather is still sunny and beautiful!
Perched for elevated prime ocean views, our resort rooms are thoughtfully positioned to harness the soothing sea breezes, boasting expansive 270-degree views over the ocean. The architectural design, featuring large shady eaves, invites natural tranquility into each space. Within both residences, the top floor is dedicated to a spacious lounge area, complete with a flat-screen TV, high ceilings, and an array of louvers that bolster the natural cooling effect. These communal areas are designed for relaxation and social engagement, offering a breezy retreat from the sun-soaked adventures of the day. Each residence harbors six private well-appointed air-conditioned bedrooms on the upper level, and two rooms on the lower level. Every room extends to a private section of the veranda through French doors flanked by adjustable louvers, ensuring privacy and a personal connection with the stunning surroundings. There is an option to upgrade to a beach front private bungalow for an additional cost.
